The Sampler is an entry-level position responsible for conducting basic inspection tasks on small vessels and barges. This role involves performing fundamental sampling and measurement duties under supervision, ensuring compliance with industry procedures, and supporting senior inspectors. The Sampler will work in various field conditions, including confined spaces and at heights, and must adhere to strict safety regulations. The position may require irregular shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Conduct basic sampling and inspection tasks on small vessels and barges.

• Follow defined procedures and client instructions for sampling and measurement.

• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and transportation of collected samples.

• Assist senior inspectors in more complex tasks as needed.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of sampling activities.

• Adhere to all company safety policies and industry regulations.

• Participate in training programs to develop technical knowledge and skills.

• Continuously update knowledge and skills within the field.

• To always respect and protect company and client confidentiality.

• Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to operational excellence.

• Minimum high school/secondary education or equivalent.

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.

• Willingness to learn and develop within the field.

• Valid Class B driving license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Valid work permit for Germany.

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.

• Capability to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.

• Good verbal and written proficiency in German (B1 level) and basic English (A2 level).

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety regulations.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Awareness of hazardous material handling and transportation regulations.

• Familiarity with laboratory sample handling and documentation.

Der/Die Probennehmer/in ist eine Einstiegsposition und verantwortlich für die Durchführung einfacher. Inspektionsaufgaben an kleinen Schiffen und Binnenschiffen. Zu den Aufgaben gehören die

Probenahme und Messung unter Anleitung, die Einhaltung branchenüblicher Verfahren sowie die

Unterstützung erfahrener Inspektoren. Der/Die Probennehmer/in arbeitet unter verschiedenen

Bedingungen, auch in beengten Räumen und in der Höhe, und muss strenge Sicherheitsvorschriften

beachten. Unregelmäßige Schichten, einschließlich Nacht-, Wochenend- und Feiertagsarbeit, können

erforderlich sein.

• Durchführung von Probenahmen petrochemischer Flüssigkeiten und Trockengüter gemäß vordefinierten Verfahren.

• Einhaltung von Kundenanweisungen, Saybolt-Standardverfahren, dem Global Safety Manual und Unternehmensrichtlinien.

• Teilnahme an Schulungen und Bestehen relevanter Prüfungen in den Bereichen Erdöl-, Chemie- und Gasinspektion, Gefahrguttransport und Sicherheitsprotokolle.

• Sicherstellen der korrekten Kennzeichnung und sicheren Lagerung von Proben, einschließlich Produktdetails, Lagerungsmethode, Zeitpunkt der Probenahme und Name des Inspektors.

• Gewährleistung des rechtzeitigen und sicheren Transports der Proben ins Labor.

• Unterstützung von höherrangigen Inspektoren bei Inspektionstätigkeiten nach Bedarf.

• Kontinuierliche Weiterbildung und Aktualisierung der Fachkenntnisse.

• Sicherstellung der Vertraulichkeit von Unternehmens- und Kundendaten.

• Übernahme zusätzlicher Aufgaben nach Bedarf, mit Anpassungsfähigkeit und Engagement für betriebliche Exzellenz.

• Mindestens abgeschlossene Sekundarschulbildung oder gleichwertiger Abschluss.

• Mindestens ein Jahr Berufserfahrung in einem serviceorientierten Unternehmen (bevorzugt).

• Gültiger Führerschein der Klasse B mit zufriedenstellender Fahrpraxis.

• Gültige Arbeitserlaubnis für Deutschland.

• Fähigkeit, Wissen und Fachkenntnisse mit Kollegen zu teilen.

• Gute mündliche und schriftliche Deutschkenntnisse (B1) sowie grundlegende Englischkenntnisse (A2).

• Fähigkeit zur Durchführung grundlegender mathematischer Berechnungen.

• Hohe Aufmerksamkeit für Details und Einhaltung von Sicherheitsvorschriften.

• Fähigkeit, sowohl eigenständig als auch im Team zu arbeiten.

• Kenntnisse im Umgang mit Gefahrstoffen und Transportvorschriften.

• Erfahrung mit der Handhabung und Dokumentation von Laborproben.

• Ausgeprägte Teamfähigkeit und Belastbarkeit in einem körperlich anspruchsvollen Arbeitsumfeld.

• Hohe Zuverlässigkeit, Ehrlichkeit, Pünktlichkeit, Genauigkeit und Detailorientierung.

• Bereitschaft zur Teilnahme an erforderlichen Schulungen.
