This role is responsible for supporting and optimizing Software Asset Management (SAM) practices across client environments. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate software asset records, analyzing usage and licensing data to ensure compliance, and identifying cost optimization opportunities. The role contributes to maintain SAM tools and processes, conducts compliance audits, and delivers detailed reporting. It also involves advising clients on best practices, driving continuous improvement of SAM processes, and providing ongoing operational support, often leveraging platforms such as ServiceNow ITSM. Strong communication skills and multilingual proficiency (English plus Spanish or Portuguese) are critical to enable effective client engagement.
How would be your daily?
- Understanding of major software licensing models (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, IBM)
- Maintain accurate records of software assets, including licenses and usage data
- Generate detailed reports on software usage, compliance status, and cost savings opportunities
- Assist in the implementation of SAM tools and processes for clients
- Analyze software usage data to identify compliance issues and opportunities for cost savings
- Recommend and implement improvements to clients’ SAM processes
- Conduct software compliance audits to ensure clients adhere to licensing agreements
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients on SAM-related issues
