Salesperson Job Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assist them throughout the vehicle‑buying process
  • Understand customer needs and match them with the right vehicle
  • Present vehicle features, pricing, and financing options clearly
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Follow up with prospects and maintain leads
  • Conduct test drives and vehicle walk‑arounds
  • Complete required documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Deliver a positive, professional customer experience

Qualifications

Salesperson Qualifications

  • Previous sales or customer service experience preferred (automotive a plus, but not required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self‑motivated with a positive, professional attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, goal‑driven environment
  • Comfort learning dealership systems and product knowledge
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check, and a pre-employment drug screen.
