Salesforce Tester

What success looks like in this role:

The Salesforce Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of Salesforce applications through rigorous testing processes. This role involves both manual and automated testing to identify and resolve issues before deployment.

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

• Identify, document, and track defects and issues.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Use testing tools and frameworks to automate test cases.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience and minimum of 2 years of related experience

• Good exposure to Salesforce CRM landscape.

• Analyzes requirements, creates test cases and maintains traceability.

• Communication, both written & verbal should be excellent.

• Knowledge inclined towards Azure & TFS Agile process

• Ability to create and maintain Test Strategy/Plan. 

• Experience on Web API, functional and performance testing.

• Experience with automated testing tools and creation of test harness.

• Experience with creation/automation of large dynamic test data set (and integration to data lakes) in a CI/CD environment for performance testing.

• Lead test team interaction with DevOps team to integrate with CI/CD pipelines.

• Good to have automation tools exposure

• Experience with Salesforce platform and its various components (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).

• Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestNG).

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder).

• Experience with API testing and integration testing.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
