As a Senior Salesforce Test Engineer within Digital Technology, this position requires completing all steps of the SDVLC documentation including interpretation of the functional requirements and confirming requirements with functional business analyst, write test plans, executing, and documenting of system integration testing.
Utilize applicable tools to facilitate adequate systems testing, monitoring & troubleshooting
Contribute to identify and implement continuous improvement concepts to increase efficiency and maximize value to clients
Maintain broad understanding of current testing software technologies
Assist in unit, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
Ability to multi-task assignments and exercise judgment regarding escalations to senior team members or vendor.
Maintain a productive relationship with Stakeholders, Process Owners, Technical and Functional Peers through effective communications and collaboration.
Develop and maintain a strong practical understanding of technologies currently deployed within the department.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in testing Salesforce applications.
Experience with creating automation test scripts using Selenium, Agile/Scrum, DevOps.
Utilize Salesforce testing tools such as Salesforce Inspector, Data Loader, and Workbench for testing and data management.
Develop, document, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts for Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and eCommerce Cloud.
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure the stability and quality of the solutions.
Identify, log, and track defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
Ensure that all Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations meet the specified requirements and quality standards.
Verify data integrity and perform data validation testing across various Salesforce Clouds.
Conduct end-to-end testing Salesforce processes and workflows, including custom Apex and Visualforce components.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.
Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including daily stand-ups, spring planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
Salesforce Administration certification is plus.
