Overview

    The ALL/IN Platform Technical Lead is responsible for leading the design, delivery, and ongoing evolution of ALL/IN platform solutions across the organization. This role owns end-to-end solution design, including data architecture, security design, and integration strategy across the platform. It also plays a critical role, along with the VP of Digital & eCommerce, in developing scalable platform enhancements and solution design across the platform, reflecting platform evolution that aligns with business objectives.
    The ALL/IN Platform Technical Lead helps lead partnerships with business stakeholders and technical teams to define solution strategies. They then guide architectural decisions, and ensure the successful implementation of high-impact initiatives. Additionally, this role provides technical leadership and mentorship to other Salesforce team members, helping to elevate the platform’s health and capabilities, and drive the long-term success of Allied Beverage Group’s investment in the Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities

    Lead Solution Design & Architecture
  • Lead end-to-end solution design across the Salesforce platform, including data architecture, security model design, and integration strategy.
  • Define system interactions and data flows between Salesforce and external systems (e.g., ERP, APIs), partnering with IT and external resources for implementation.
  • Evaluate business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
  • Make architectural recommendations in collaboration with IT, including system-of-record decisions and design tradeoffs.
  • Ensure solutions align with platform best practices, performance standards, and long-term scalability.
  • Platform Strategy & Roadmap Execution
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for platform enhancements and process improvements.
  • Assists with leadership of  requirements gathering and solutioning sessions to align business goals with technical capabilities.
  • Recommends the definition and prioritization of the Salesforce platform roadmap based on business impact and technical feasibility.
  • Guide implementation of new features and enhancements, ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
  • Assess new Salesforce releases and determine their impact on current architecture and future roadmap.
  • Technical Leadership & Team Development
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce team members, supporting skill development and best practices.
  • Establish reusable patterns (e.g., flows, Apex, integrations) to improve development efficiency and consistency.
  • Review and guide solution designs and implementations to ensure quality and alignment with standards.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce across the organization.
  • Platform Health, Performance & Adoption
  • Oversee platform health, performance, and reliability, proactively identifying areas for optimization.
  • Monitor usage and adoption, providing insights and recommendations to improve user experience and business outcomes.
  • Support resolution of complex platform issues through root cause analysis and structured problem-solving.
  • Ensure reporting, dashboards, and data structures support business decision making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Additional years of direct experience designing and delivering Salesforce solutions may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • 5+ years of experience working with the Salesforce platform, including solution design and delivery across multiple clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, B2B Commerce).
  • Experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions, including data modeling, security design, and integration strategies across systems.
  • Experience working with integrations, including leveraging existing APIs and partnering with technical teams to implement cross-system solutions.
  • Experience leading requirements gathering, solution design, and delivery of scalable platform enhancements.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and working within cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Ability to evaluate complex business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements across Salesforce and integrated systems, including upstream and downstream dependencies.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including declarative development (Flow), data architecture, security design, and basic programmatic development (SOQL, Apex, Lightning Web Components).
  • Ability to guide architectural decisions and communicate technical concepts clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and ability to identify process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence decision-making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly. 
  • Salesforce Platform Administrator certification required.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer, Platform Data Architect, or Platform Sharing & Visibility Architect certifications preferred.
  • Salesforce Application Architect certification strongly preferred.

    The anticipated salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000, depending on qualifications such as experience, education, and skillset.
