What We’re Looking For

As a Salesforce Technical Lead at EROAD, you will provide strategic technical leadership and architectural guidance across Salesforce initiatives, with a strong focus on our Salesforce Revenue Cloud transformation. You will design scalable, secure, and integrated enterprise solutions that align with business objectives and drive revenue optimisation, operational efficiency, and long-term platform sustainability.

This role partners closely with executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams — shaping the future of EROAD’s revenue operations and Salesforce ecosystem.

You will play a senior, influential role in:

• Leading a major Salesforce Revenue Cloud implementation
• Defining and governing enterprise-level architecture
• Driving best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement

About the Role

Job Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Define and develop end‑to‑end technical solutions across Salesforce, including Revenue Cloud, CPQ, Billing, and integrations to ERP and other enterprise systems.
• Ensure all solutions follow Salesforce best practices, scalability standards, and security architecture.
• Translate complex business requirements into logical, well‑documented architectures and technical specifications.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical direction, mentorship, and guidance to Salesforce developers, administrators, and consultants.
• Serve as the organisation’s SME on Salesforce capabilities, integration patterns, and enterprise architecture principles.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with executive leadership and business units to align strategic objectives with Salesforce solutions.
• Lead architecture workshops and present solution designs to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Implementation Oversight

• Oversee configuration and custom development to ensure adherence to approved architecture.
• Validate solution integrity during testing, deployment, and post‑release reviews.

Governance & Risk Management

• Establish and enforce architectural governance, development standards, and technical guardrails.
• Identify technical risks, performance challenges, and gaps — recommending mitigation strategies.

Continuous Improvement

• Champion Salesforce best practices, emerging technologies, and AI-driven enhancements.
• Recommend and implement improvements to optimise performance, reliability, and user experience.

Job Qualifications

Technical Must‑Haves

• Expert‑level skills in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce data/security architecture.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, and Git‑based release workflows.
• Ability to design scalable integration architectures using APIs, Platform Events, and asynchronous patterns.

Consulting & Leadership

• Ability to lead solution design workshops and produce clear architectural documentation.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor teams and provide technical leadership across multiple workstreams.

Delivery & Governance

• Experience applying Salesforce best-practice architecture frameworks (secure, scalable, well‑architected).
• Strong understanding of data migration approaches, environment strategy, and release governance.
