Job Description

Role Overview: As a Salesforce Technical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical design, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce solutions to meet the strategic needs of BETSOL and it's Customers. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, customization, integration, and development best practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions that enhance business processes and drive organizational success.

• Solution Design & Architecture: Collaborate closely with the Architect to design and implement robust, scalable Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements.Participate in discussions and provide input on architecture decisions, data models, middleware integration, and security.Assist in the creation of technical specifications, data mapping, and migration strategies.
  
• Platform Event & PushTopic Implementation: Design and implement Platform Events and PushTopics for real-time communication and external system notifications.Ensure robust handling of event publishing, subscription, and message delivery mechanisms.

• APIs & Middleware Integration: Lead the integration efforts with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and potentially Mulesoft or any other middleware for seamless data exchange between Salesforce and external systems.Develop and manage integration layers and ensure data synchronization between systems.
  
• Business Logic Development : Oversee the implementation of Apex triggers, Flows, Validation Rules, and custom automations.Ensure best practices are followed for Salesforce coding, such as governor limit management and bulk processing.
  
• UI Customization & LWC: Designing intuitive and user-friendly Salesforce interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC), ensuring alignment with business requirements.Oversee the configuration of page layouts, visibility rules, and user interfaces to ensure optimal user experience.
  
• Data Migration: Lead the data migration process to Salesforce, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance.Collaborate on the field mapping, order of data loading, and develop a strategy to handle large-scale data migration in multiple steps (extraction, transformation, and loading).Ensure data quality, consistency, and validation during the migration process.
  
• Security & Access Control: Design and implement role-based access control, field-level security, and visibility rules in alignment with business and compliance requirements.Ensure Salesforce Platform Shield and other security mechanisms are properly configured to safeguard sensitive data.
  
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Ensure proper unit testing, integration testing, and validation of all business processes and customizations.Work with QA teams to automate and execute test scripts for functionality and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Guide the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions. Mentor the development team and ensure best practices.
• Project Management: Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Participate in Agile ceremonies and address technical issues.
• Solution Architecture: Design scalable Salesforce solutions. Evaluate and recommend Salesforce products and features.
• Development and Customization: Develop custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components. Perform data migration and integration using Mulesoft or similar platforms.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements. Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure data security and privacy compliance. Conduct system audits and vulnerability assessments.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 5+ years of Salesforce development and administration experience. Proven leadership in Salesforce projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs. Experience with integration tools.
• Certifications: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Application Architect preferred. Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II required.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Agile Methodology: Experience with Agile development and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
