MongoDB is seeking a Salesforce developer for the CRM team who is a proactive individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback, designing scalable best practice solutions, and managing the product roadmap. The Salesforce Developer should enjoy all aspects of user management including Production support, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction as a priority.
We are looking for someone with a good understanding of the Salesforce platform, who can understand both our current setup and our business objectives, to quickly identify improvement areas. The Salesforce Developer should be comfortable with change management and governance, as well as communicating, prioritizing, and managing all aspects of a Salesforce project. The ideal candidate will be liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to communicate technical information in layman’s terms, clearly explaining design/logic options and their potential impact.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality technical solutions on the SFDC platform based on industry best practices to solve business needs
- Manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in the SFDC application
- Identify opportunities to utilize application best practices, provide scalability and performance
- Work closely with program managers and business partners to understand and refine requirements, objectives, and processes to drive strategic solutions.
- Deliver support and solutions for break/fix issues
- Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources and customers in providing timely updates on status of deliverables, shedding light on technical issues, and obtaining buy-in on creative solutions
- Handle concurrent projects/priorities using proven project management methodologies and sound development practices to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions
- Implement App Exchange solutions
- Investigate integration issues and work closely with members in Operations, Development and Admin teams
- Research and development of new Salesforce.com prototypes and applications
- Research and keep current on Force.com technologies and communicate trends and future needs to leadership
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of applications
- Establish client relationships to build client trust and support
- Work closely with globally distributed development team and lead project efforts with less supervision
- Ensure appropriate controls and documentation are followed to create an effective control environment
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 6+ Years of Techno-functional Salesforce Development Experience.
- 2+ years of JavaScript experience and/or Techno-functional Salesforce Lightning experience
- Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions.
- Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, process automation, reporting, etc.).
- Expert level knowledge and development experience in Visualforce, APEX programming, Force.com APIs, SOQLs, Governor Limits, Declarative Automation, Web Services and Lightning components development (Aura and LWC)
- Experience with CI/CD and deployment techniques in Salesforce
- Knowledge and experience with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies
- Experience in reengineering implementations as well as code refactoring and optimization to increase performance
- Proven analytical and problem-solving ability to grasp concepts quickly and deliver results against ambitious timelines
- Excellent communication skills to connect with team and stakeholders to handle a full application development cycle.
- Salesforce Basic and Advanced Certifications (Advanced Administrator certification, Advanced Developer or Platform II certification, Javascript Certified Developer, Application Architect / System Architect)

- Salesforce Certifications
- Clear comprehension of Salesforce Cloud products (Sales Cloud, CPQ, Certinia, etc)
- Experience working with scripting languages and Web Architecture Principles
- Prior hands-on development experience, ability to read, write and debug code
- Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment is a plus

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:
$101,000—$198,000 USD
