Design, govern, and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions that align business strategy with technical execution. Translate complex requirements into secure, maintainable architectures across one or more Salesforce Clouds, guiding stakeholders and ensuring cohesive delivery across teams. This is a direct architecture role that balances strategic thinking with practical execution and delivery accountability.SKILLSDuties and Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned with business outcomes.
- Translate business requirements into target architecture using standard platform capabilities first, with custom development where it adds clear value.
- Produce and maintain artifacts including, but not limited to, data models, sequence diagrams, and integration patterns.
- Serve as a technical advisor to product owners, business leaders, and delivery teams.
- Lead architectural discussions and design reviews, clearly articulating options, and tradeoffs.
- Partner with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Business Analysts, and QA to ensure cohesive delivery.
- Establish and enforce Salesforce architecture standards and governance processes.
- Ensure solutions adhere to Salesforce platform limits, performance considerations, and security best practices.
- Identify and mitigate architectural risks such as technical debt and scalability concerns.
- Architect Salesforce integrations using APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns.
- Define robust data models and guide data migration, quality, and governance strategies.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security and access requirements.
- Track Salesforce releases and AppExchange offerings to improve platform value.
- Mentor Salesforce team members and raise technical capability.
- Document architecture decisions, patterns, and standards.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance strategic architecture with hands-on delivery.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Professional Experience
- 5–7+ years of experience delivering Salesforce solutions across multiple full-lifecycle implementations.
- Experience in a Salesforce Solutions Architect role or senior technical leadership position with end-to-end solution ownership.
- Direct experience across core Salesforce Clouds such as Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, or Industry Clouds.
Technical Experience
- Deep understanding of Salesforce data models, declarative configuration, and programmatic development (Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL).
- Proven experience architecting integrations and Salesforce system architecture.
- Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Certifications Required (must be held at time of hire):
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (Administrator 1) or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
- Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
- Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other Consultant certifications.
- Equivalent combinations of certifications and direct Salesforce architecture experience will be considered.
- Experience with Salesforce Industry Clouds (Vlocity/OmniStudio).
- Experience defining Salesforce architectural governance.
- Exposure to MuleSoft or event-driven integration architectures.
Work-at-home requirements
- Must have the ability to provide a non-cellular High Speed Internet Service such as Fiber, DSL, or cable Modems for a home office.
- A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 30x5 (30mpbs download x 5mpbs upload) is required.
- Latency (ping) response time lower than 80 ms
- Hotspots, satellite and wireless internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
- A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

The hiring range for this position is $134,294 - $169,890 USD. At G.E.H.A, the current maximum salary for this role is $189,306 USD.
