The Role

Role Summary: 

We are seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect to lead the optimization and development of our Salesforce process through custom platform development and integrations with inKind’s various internal and external services. This role is pivotal in aligning our Sales, Onboarding, Marketing, and Partner Success teams with a robust and efficient CRM system. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong technical foundation, capable of architecting a scalable Salesforce solution while fostering user adoption.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions: 

  • Develop and maintain custom workflows, approvals, and validation rules
  • Configure Salesforce objects, fields, record types, and page layouts to support business processes
  • Create reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide actionable insights
  • Manage user profiles, roles, and permissions
  • Foster user adoption through effective communication and change management as well as provide ongoing user support and training
  • Regularly conduct audits of the existing Salesforce instance to identify areas for automation and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless data flow as well as explore and implement integrations with third-party applications (e.g., Adobe Documents)
  • Integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems (e.g., financials, sales results, partner data)
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce best practices and new features
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the platform

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience building custom Salesforce solutions and integrations with an expert level understanding of Salesforce architecture and data modeling, designing relational databases, querying with SQL, and designing JSON data structures
  • 3+ years working with RESTful API integrations, ideally with large data sources
  • 3+ years coding in Apex, JavaScript, and at least one OSS backend programming language (Java, Python, Ruby, TypeScript, Node, etc)
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration, including workflows, approvals, validation rules, reports, permissions, and integrations both into and out of Salesforce

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator or Certified Advanced Administrator certifications 

Work Environment:

  • The candidate in this position will be primarily located in an office environment and be exposed to lighting, temperature, and noise level conditions typical of that environment
  • This position is primarily in-person, with an expectation of in-person work at the physical office location in Austin, Texas

Salary

  • $130,000-$150,000 annually DOE
