Job Description:
The Salesforce Functional SME has deep knowledge of sales and servicing business concepts, practices, and procedures as well as Salesforce functionalities. They rely on their expertise, experience and judgment, both on the business aspect and Salesforce, to plan and accomplish goals, and to perform a variety of tasks. The Salesforce Functional SME conducts needs analysis, prepares user stories, determines impact to Salesforce functionalities, collaborates with others for system design and support squads to ensure alignment to business requirements and solution design and continuous delivery.
Responsibilities
- Works closely with the Product Owner to effectively elicit and verify requirements of the business.
- Analyzes the business requirements and maps them to Salesforce functionalities, identifying whether for configuration or customization.
- Works with the team Product Owners/Business Systems Analysts to document and review the user stories with functional requirements specific to Salesforce and supports them in communicating the requirements to the rest of the development team.
- Reviews, provides feedback and supports the design, testing and implementation of the development team to ensure alignment with the business and functional requirements.
- Works closely with the Tech Lead to come up with the solution design of the overall technological architecture of the value stream(s).
- Works closely with Release Train Engineer to drive integration, alignment and continuity of delivery of the value stream(s).
