Role overview:
The Senior Engineer is a hands-on technical specialist responsible for designing, configuring, and operating scalable solutions on Salesforce Data 360 and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
The role focuses on advanced platform configuration, data modelling, integration patterns, and operational reliability, with selective use of custom code and automation where standard platform capabilities are insufficient.
This Senior Engineer works closely with Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams to ensure reliable audience ingestion, segmentation, and activation, balancing platform-native solutions with pragmatic engineering extensions to support enterprise-scale use cases.

Key responsibilities:
Own the design and implementation of low-level technical solutions for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration supporting Salesforce Data 360 and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Build automated, scalable, and production-ready data flows, reducing manual BAU effort and operational risk.
Ensure data integrity and synchronization between Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Data 360, and internal/external systems.
Integrate Salesforce platforms using API-based integration patterns (REST / event-based where applicable).
Improve platform performance, observability, and data quality through code-level optimizations, monitoring, and proactive alerting.
Lead troubleshooting, testing, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex data, integration, and activation issues.
Ensure solutions comply with security, privacy, consent, and data governance standards.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other engineers, promoting strong software engineering practices across the team.
Qualifications and skills:
Essential:
+ 4 years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce platforms in an enterprise environment, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Salesforce Data 360.
Practical understanding of end-to-end customer data flows, including ingestion, segmentation, identity resolution, and activation readiness.
Experience configuring and operating Salesforce capabilities such as journeys, automation, data extensions / objects, connectors, and calculated insights.
Solid working knowledge of SQL, data transformations, and basic data modelling concepts to support audience and activation use cases.
Experience integrating Salesforce platforms with external systems using REST / SOAP APIs, including troubleshooting data sync and consistency issues.
Understanding of deliverability, runtime stability, monitoring, and operational support in marketing and activation scenarios.
Exposure to scripting and automation (e.g. AMPScript, SSJS, Python, Node.js, or Apex) with the ability to read, adapt, and extend existing code.
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, version control (Git), and deployment practices as applied to Salesforce and data-related assets.
Awareness of security, privacy, consent, and data governance considerations impacting platform configuration and usage.
Fluent English
Preferred:
Experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, ADLS, or Synapse.
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and event- or pipeline-driven architectures.
Knowledge of marketing activation workflows and audience lifecycle management at scale.
Exposure to privacy-by-design and consent-driven architectures.
Salesforce certifications (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, Salesforce Data 360 Consultant).
Experience with additional Salesforce products (e.g. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).

Remuneration: 19 650 to 27 000 PLN gross/monthly, depending on the level of experience and competences.
