Job PurposeThe Release Manager coordinates the deployment of inter-dependent application suites while maintaining robust processes to remove roadblocks and increase stakeholder visibility. You will act as a central point of alignment, ensuring all technical and resource dependencies are managed according to established client agreements. By identifying process gaps and proposing strategic improvements, you will ensure our delivery cycles remain efficient and predictable.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate release planning and risk mitigation activities starting from early sprint cycles to account for all technical and resource dependencies.
- Maintain a master release schedule for core services to ensure total alignment between internal teams and external client stakeholders.
- Lead Release CAB meetings to evaluate scope, address blockages, and escalate critical risks to technical and managerial leadership.
- Assess high-level build readiness and drive the resolution of cross-team issues to ensure successful deployment windows.
- Manage configuration assurance and build verification processes to maintain high quality standards throughout the SDLC.
- Conduct formal Release Readiness and Business Go/No-Go reviews to confirm all testing requirements and risk profiles are met.
- Oversee early life support and coordinate the resolution of production issues identified during the initial warranty period.
- 1-3 years of experience in release management, release coordination, or project management within a technical environment.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT operations, specifically working with DevOps methodologies and tools.
- Advanced knowledge of the full SDLC and a strong understanding of ITIL standards.
- Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proven ability to work independently on complex problems.
- Strong communication skills with an Upper Intermediate or higher proficiency in English.
- Result-oriented mindset with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously.
