Caterpillar Inc. seeks Salesforce Lead Software Engineer at its facility located at 5205 N O'Connor Blvd, Ste.100, Irving, TX 75039. Serve as a core member and technical leader of a scrum team comprised of developers, product owners, architects, and essential partner roles. Provide technical and team leadership in design, development, and deployment of Caterpillar's Salesforce Digital Marketing capabilities. Design, develop, and implement solutions on the Salesforce Sales Cloud platform that consider system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, security, and scalability. Integrate with backend systems, publishers, and partner teams to ensure the platform provides needed functionality and service, while focusing on the prime goal of modernizing the platform. Ensure team adherence to project security and quality standards. Work with Scrum Master to confirm user stories are ready for development. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits. Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team. Provide technical directions and mentoring to junior developers. Communicate with end users and internal customers to help direct development, debugging, and testing of application software for accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness. Engage with Enterprise Architects to review high level solutions and lead its development. REQS: This position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field and 7 years of experience as a Salesforce Software Engineer or related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Salesforce architecture, Salesforce security configuration, sharing rules and user management; (2) Enhancing the Salesforce platform using configuration and code involving Apex, Lightning UI with Aura, LWC, Visual force, JavaScript, XML, JSON, HTML, and CSS; (3) Designing integration frameworks between Salesforce and external systems and portals using standard connectors or REST/SOAP APIs; (4) Salesforce Community portals; (5) Declarative customization including the creation of Flow, Process Builder, Approval Processes, Validation Rules, Workflow rules, Reports and Dashboards; (6) Salesforce Deployment Process and tools; (7) Salesforce Admin, Platform Developer I and II, and/or other Salesforce certifications; and (8) Agile based project methodologies and tools. Travel: None. Telecommuting: Up to 4 days/week.
Summary Pay Range:
$156,998.00 - $208,770.00
