Job Description

We are seeking a well-rounded Senior Salesforce Lead / Architect with a minimum of 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, combining deep platform knowledge with strong leadership and a strategic mindset. This role demands architectural vision, hands-on solution design, and the ability to implement both declarative (no-code/low-code) and programmatic solutions.

You will work across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, leading architecture, mentoring team members, and delivering scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions using a balanced approach across declarative tools (e.g., Flows, Process Automation, App Builder) and custom development (Apex, LWC).

  • Lead architectural design sessions, translating business needs into declarative and programmatic solutions that prioritize performance, scalability, and maintainability.

  • Champion the use of Flows over legacy automation tools, focusing on Flow performance optimization, best practices, and migration from Workflow Rules/Process Builder.

  • Manage and optimize Salesforce org configuration, including roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and permission set groups to ensure scalable, secure access.

  • Configure Lightning Record Pages, Home Pages, and App Pages using Lightning App Builder, applying Dynamic Forms, Actions, and Visibility Rules to tailor user experiences.

  • Build and manage Reports, Dashboards, and Custom Report Types to support decision-making across business units.

  • Leverage Einstein Prediction Builder, Next Best Action, and other declarative AI tools to deliver intelligent automation and insights.

  • Implement and manage Sales Engagement tools, including Sales Cadences, Work Queues, and email/engagement tracking, using declarative customization where applicable.

  • Drive Copado-based DevOps practices for both declarative and programmatic asset deployments, ensuring governance and quality in release management.

  • Select and configure AppExchange solutions, integrating them into the broader architecture while evaluating their impact on org health and user experience.

  • Oversee data management and data quality, utilizing tools like Data Loader, Import Wizard, Duplicate Management, Validation Rules, and Scheduled Flows to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Implement and advise on platform security using Salesforce Shield (Event Monitoring, Field Audit Trail, Platform Encryption) and native security features.

  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), balancing custom and low-code integration patterns (e.g., External Services, Named Credentials).

  • Stay informed on Salesforce releases, ecosystem developments, and Trailhead advancements, proactively recommending and implementing platform enhancements.

  • Mentor junior admins and developers, promoting declarative-first thinking and adherence to best practices across the team.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience across declarative and programmatic domains.

  • Advanced knowledge of Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and SOQL, with strong emphasis on Flows and Flow optimization.

  • Proven success with declarative automation, security configuration, user access management, and data quality tools.

  • Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Sales Engagement tools.

  • Deep understanding of Lightning App Builder, Reports & Dashboards, and Dynamic Page Customization.

  • Experience managing declarative changes via Copado or similar DevOps platforms.

  • Working knowledge of Einstein AI tools, including Prediction Builder and Next Best Action.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce Shield for advanced security, audit, and encryption requirements.

  • Proficient in AppExchange solution evaluation and integration into Salesforce architecture.

  • Salesforce Certifications: Platform Developer I & II, Advanced Administrator, App Builder, Application Architect or System Architect highly preferred.

This Role Is Ideal For You If You:

  • Believe in a declarative-first approach before reaching for code.

  • Understand how to optimize and govern declarative tools in large, complex orgs.

  • Value clean, scalable architecture that empowers both end users and admins.

  • Thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional team and enjoy mentoring others.
