Position: Salesforce Experience Cloud Technical Architect

Location: London | Cambridge

Employment type: Full-time regular

The Job

The Salesforce Experience Cloud technical architect’s role is to take a hands-on approach during the execution of IT projects. They are a specialist in Salesforce Experience Cloud and define best practices. Their main task is to realise technical implementation processes as this requires high level of in-depth expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high-quality Salesforce Experience Cloud solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Lead technical design sessions, architect and document technical solutions that are aligned with business objectives.
  • Analyse complex systems and troubleshoot and isolate system issues.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to development teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with other architects and stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive working solution.
  • Understand platform limitations and design alternatives to work around limitations.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage the Salesforce platform for additional business benefits.
  • Provide detailed estimates of the level of effort associated to implement capabilities based on business requirements and solution design.

Skills and qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of five years of experience in an IT solution development discipline
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments but specifically around Salesforce technologies.
  • Good understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models
  • Good understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt
  • Experience working in a relevant industry is helpful, but not required
  • Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps
  • Certified Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Architect in a Salesforce environment.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Experience Cloud features and best practices.
  • Experience with Salesforce APIs, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other programming languages.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver on time and on budget.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence stakeholders and team members.
  • Data savvy with knowledge of various aspects of a technology architecture like integration, network and security
  • Proven analytical, planning, organizational and technical and skills
  • Ability to work with developers
