Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Quality Assurance Analyst - Intern at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of flawless software solutions. Your tasks will include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine testing requirements and strategies.
- Developing and completing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of automated testing frameworks.
- Performing detailed regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Coordinating with developers to successfully implement fixes and improvements.
To compete for this ambitious role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Basic understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a dedication to producing high-quality work.
