JOB DESCRIPTION
The FOX Business & Data Platforms team is seeking a highly motivated team player to join our tech
team supporting the Promo Marketing business group. The ideal candidate will have a solid
understanding of the Salesforce platform, with a proven track record of developing complex
applications and custom solutions within Salesforce. You will be responsible for designing,
developing, and launching efficient business applications for the Promo Marketing business group.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
● Development and Customization: Design and develop high-quality CRM solutions using
Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce Lightning Web components. Create and customize
Salesforce objects, fields, record types, page layouts, workflow rules, validations, and
process builders.
● Design and architect the technical approach, and review the design with the team. Review
the work of other developers, and provide technical feedback on other implementations.● Integration: Implement and maintain Salesforce integrations with other business systems
using REST APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
● Data Management: Execute data migration and data quality initiatives, including the use of
tools like Data Loader and duplication management tools.
● System Optimization: Analyze complex systems and troubleshoot and isolate system issues.
Recommend enhancements to existing configurations to improve system performance and
user experience.
● T esting: Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure that all solutions
are robust and performant before deployment.
● Deployment/Release Management: Manage Salesforce releases, using tools such as
Salesforce DX, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
● Documentation: Write and maintain clear, concise functional and technical documentation.
● Best Practices: Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices to
make recommendations on process improvements.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
● Salesforce Platform Developer I/II Certification is highly preferred.
● Multiple years of Salesforce development experience, with a strong focus on Apex and LWC
development.
● Extensive experience with Salesforce Lightning development is a must.
● Experience with web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
● Experience in Salesforce Communities and Service Cloud, preferred but not required.
● Proven track record of delivering complex development projects.
● Familiarity with project lifecycle methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
● Solid understanding of Salesforce declarative automation tools and the Salesforce data
model.
● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
● Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
● Media industry experience.
● Advanced Salesforce certifications.
● Familiarity with modern software development tools and practices such as Git, CI/CD, and
automated testing.
● Mulesoft integration experience.
