The Team:

To continue this momentum, we are investing in building a strong product and technology function to power the next generation of solutions for students, teachers, and schools/districts. The Elevate Software Engineering team is delivering cutting-edge educational software at an enterprise scale, ensuring seamless consumer-grade experiences that support our mission.

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to lead the development, customization, and optimization of complex Salesforce solutions, with a focus on CRM and CPQ. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce integrations, ensuring seamless functionality, scalability, and performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and customization of Salesforce solutions, leveraging Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
  • Extend Salesforce capabilities to meet evolving business needs.
  • Develop custom applications and workflows within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for Salesforce applications.
  • Perform unit and integration testing to ensure solution reliability.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions against business requirements.
  • Architect scalable, maintainable, and flexible Salesforce solutions that align with business needs.
  • Ensure optimal integration of Salesforce solutions within the enterprise architecture.
  • Maintain best practices for security, data integrity, and system performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges within Salesforce.
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Implement long-term solutions to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce clouds and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other tools.
  • Ensure data consistency, security, and performance in integration strategies.
  • Lead the development of data models and governance practices.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize Salesforce system performance.
  • Implement best practices for scalability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Solution/Technical Architects and other teams to define and implement Salesforce technical strategies.
  • Guide development teams through complex coding challenges and architectural decisions.
  • Mentor junior developers, promoting best practices in coding, configuration, and CI/CD.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence within the team.
  • Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and technologies.
  • Advocate for the adoption of new tools and best practices to enhance business outcomes.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development with expertise in Salesforce CRM and Service Cloud.
  • Proficiency in Lightning App Builder and JavaScript.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce CPQ.
  • Expertise in SFDC Development using Lightning Application, Apex Language, Visual Force pages, Classes, Controllers, Triggers, Indexes, Web Services, Components, Tabs, Apex Web services, Custom Objects, Reports, Analytic Snapshots and Dashboards, Profiles, Creating Roles, Page Layouts, Org-Wide Defaults, Sharing Rules, and Workflows.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Tooling and Metadata.
  • Strong understanding of CRM principles, data modeling, and software architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering and translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub and Salesforce DX.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Administrator, or relevant advanced certifications.
  • Additional certifications in Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or related areas are a plus.
  • Knowledge of .NET or Java is a plus.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with enterprise-level Salesforce implementations.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and automated deployment tools.
  • Experience with Einstein Analytics and AI-driven Salesforce capabilities.
