About you:

As the business scales at rapid pace the Salesforce team is growing, we are looking for a Salesforce Developer to join the business at this exciting phase. As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for all code-based solutions within Salesforce or involving data migrations, systems integrations, and 3rd party applications. The Salesforce Developer position will work closely with the Product Owner, Salesforce administrator and Business Analyst to develop solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing Apex, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Design System, and other technologies to build customized solutions.
  • Understand Salesforce.com architecture and data model – know when to develop declaratively and when to use programmatic development
  • Seek out ways to use Salesforce to improve processes and productivity and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace.
  • Define, communicate, and manage a change management process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code.
  • Involved from start of the project all the way through the deployment and will actively participate in requirement discussion, design, development, validation/testing, and deployment of the project
  • Continual evaluation of existing Salesforce security and architecture to ensure its manageability and sustainability
  • Adherence to coding standards for all deliveries

Key skills and experiences:

  • A positive attitude with a ‘Can Do’ mindset
  • The current platform is used by a mixture of Sales, Marketing and Service professionals therefore experience of Lightning, Sales, Service, and Experience cloud is required.
  • Experience writing Apex classes and triggers.
  • Familiar with Salesforce Lightning Design System.
  • Proficiency in HTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL/SOQL, Java/C++/OOP.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
  • Understanding of and experience with Salesforce architecture and API.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodology and continuous deployment tools such as GitHub
  • Proficiency with relational databases, data modeling, DB schema and SQL
  • Ability and desire to learn new technologies and development tools
  • A creative mindset to apply innovative approaches to software design
  • Strong stakeholder management; and excellent teamworking with both clients and colleagues
  • Certifications on Salesforce.com will be looked upon favorably
