Job Description
What You’ll Do:
Reporting to the Director – Digital Solutions, you’ll be responsible for building applications with no-code and code without compromise.
As a Salesforce Developer - CRM, you will be part of OTIP’s TE Digital team, delivering innovative customer experiences using a mix of Salesforce and industry standard tools to solve complex business problems.
The core parts of your role will be to:

Design, develop and implement Salesforce CRM solutions that support OTIP initiatives.

Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business, identify and gather their requirements and needs, and translate them into technical specifications and Salesforce CRM solutions.

Create custom objects, fields, workflows, automations, and reports.

Develop, maintain, and optimize integrations between Salesforce CRM and other systems, ensuring data integrity and seamless data flow.

Conduct testing and debugging activities to ensure reliability and performance of Salesforce CRM solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce CRM implementation, integrations, and data management.

Resolve incidents and problem tickets related to Salesforce CRM solutions.

Work with the TE Security team to maintain the security and integrity of OTIP’s Salesforce CRM solutions.

Task Management via Azure DevOps.

Contribute to technical documentation.

Support training on platform capabilities and features and support the creation of training materials.

Support the Salesforce Administrator, as needed.

Keep the Salesforce implementations updated with the latest releases as per OTIP requirements.

Monitor and stay current with Salesforce CRM best practices, new features and updates and proactively identify opportunities to enhance OTIP’s Digital Solutions, improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications

This is the unique blend of skills and experience we would love to see in an ideal candidate:

Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I. Additional Salesforce certifications are considered an asset (e.g., Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Javascript Developer)

At least 2 years of development experience working with Salesforce CRM platforms.

Experience developing customer-facing interfaces.
-
Strong knowledge of Apex, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
-
Expertise in building, deploying, and optimizing LWC.
-
General web development experience.
-
Strong understanding of Salesforce sharing and security, including but not limited to roles, profiles, permissions.

Demonstrate understanding of cloud technology fundamentals and cloud-based security concepts.

Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools
-
Highly analytical individual with advanced problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
-
Highly motivated communicator with strong customer service acumen, capable of coordinating multiple external technology and business partners.

Knowledge of Azure DevOps, and DevOps processes & toolsets (like Gearset, Copado)

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field
