Owned by Ontario’s four education affiliates (AEFO, ETFO, OECTA and OSSTF) and directed by a Board of Trustees, OTIP was built on the belief that educators would be better served by a not-for-profit insurance advocate that was part of the teaching community. This remains our philosophy today. We are committed to providing insurance benefits that offer the very best value to our members. Our deep understanding of the education community enables us to provide personalized, high-touch service solutions that meet and exceed expectations. Today, OTIP has grown to over 600 employees and now provides a full range of group and individual insurance products to not only education employees, but other union organizations as well. We support the communities in which our members live and work through charitable programs such as the OTIP Bursary Program, OTIP Sponsorship of School Projects and Initiatives, OTIP Community Fund and OTIP Teaching Awards.
