Why this role matters
We are expanding our global Salesforce development team in support of an enterprise-scale SaaS business in the energy sector. This role will build highquality, scalable, and resilient Salesforce solutions that support Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Support, and Operations across multiple business units.
You will join an established RevOps & Systems organization with architects, admins, CPQ specialists, and integration engineers across India and the U.S. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building in Apex, solving complex data and integration challenges, and driving development best practices across a large org.
Primary Focus
As a Salesforce System Developer, you will lead development efforts, define coding standards, and ensure the platform is optimized for performance, scalability, and security. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.
Performance Objectives

• Own and contribute to the technical design of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations and automation.
• Make key decisions on performance optimization, scalability, and secure development practices.
• Define and enforce coding standards, API design, and architectural best practices.
• Implement integrations with internal systems, leveraging Mulesoft, APIs and ETL tools.
• Lead and mentor other developers, ensuring high-quality code and efficient delivery.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using middleware, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Leading Salesforce platform optimization initiatives, evaluating the latest features and keeping platform settings (APIs, config) current.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Rev Ops, Data Integrity, Support and Marketing teams.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure robust and reliable solutions.
• Evaluate and implement third-party tools and AppExchange solutions as needed.

Competitive Candidate Profile

• 4+ years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce internals including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL.
• Strong experience with system integration, including REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and data synchronization.
• Proven ability to design scalable and secure Salesforce architecture.
