Job Description
The Role: This technical resource would perform as a Development Lead as part of the Salesforce Configure Price Quote (CPQ) development and support team and will be responsible for leading the implementation of CPQ projects across the Experian enterprise and enabling the businesses to support and maintain the CPQ application. A key part of the role will be to translate business requirements, build technical specifications, implement configurations and customizations using Salesforce CPQ, and lead ongoing technical support & maintenance of the production environment.

Understand business requirements and translate business needs related to Product and Pricing configurations and setups for various business units, into actionable system development projects that enhance the capabilities of the current infrastructure with flexible, innovative solutions.

Understand data flows across various Sales, Product/Pricing & Order Mgmt. systems and processes within these business systems.

Managing project work, enhancements, and fixes, from the request and requirements stage through build, test, and deployment – ensuring that there are few revisions needed along the way because the needs analysis was conducted thoroughly.

Provide technical development, administration, and maintenance with respect to Salesforce CPQ

Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on CPQ & Quote to Contract processes.

Work closely with UAT Team to define and execute functional, regression, unit and user acceptance testing.

Co-ordinate and communicate the impacts of process and system changes with cross-functional teams.

Provide ongoing troubleshooting of incidents, partner with 3rd-party consultants and Dev resources to address issues and raise data quality concerns as necessary.

Provide best practices and ongoing guidance & support to the business on how to leverage CPQ and CRM.

Partner with 3rd-party consultants and Dev team to accomplish goals and provide ongoing communication to various business stakeholders on project status.
Qualifications

University/College Degree preferred not required

Salesforce CPQ Certifications

Salesforce CRM Certifications
-
Agile & ITIL Certifications
Experience:
-
Development and Admin experience working on CPQ Projects in a Lead role
-
Functional knowledge of Salesforce CPQ and general Pricing and Quote to Cash concepts
-
3+ years of experience with technical CPQ implementations
-
Technical foundation in data modelling, data management and programming
-
Understanding of Web Application UI Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and Web 2.0 Development (JavaScript, AJAX, JSON) desirable but not essential

Experience of building the following areas of functionality, within a CPQ environment:

Product Catalogue: Setting up the product catalogue structure and building configurable/simple products

Pricing Rules: Put together pricing structures and formulas
-
Approvals/Discounting: Setting up the approval and discounting rules
-
Document templates: Build complex/section-based document templates
-
Skills in Word, Excel, Power Point and Lucid Chart
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies
-
Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements in the form of User Stories and Acceptance Criteria related to Product configuration, Pricing Rules, Approval matrices and Contracts

Knowledge and experience of creating Process Flows, UI Mockups and Storyboards
-
Detail oriented with strong analytical skills

Provide Technical support and guidance to internal teams

Ability to communicate across levels of the business

Experience and ability to work effectively across the matrix, geographies, and divisions, working in virtual teams, be flexible and enthusiastic under pressure
