Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Data Analyst who has IT experience, along with experience in financial reporting, general sales workflow, and Quote to Cash processes. insightsoftware uses Salesforce.com CRM Sales Cloud, Sales Contracts, CPQ, and Billing. SFDC experience is a plus but not a requirement, provided you can demonstrate the skills listed here in a comparable CRM system.

This is a core financial analyst role where your primary responsibility will include ensuring the accuracy of Salesforce based financial reporting and understanding all aspects of the business process and CRM system that impact those reports. You will audit internal SF reports and data warehouse BI reports created by business leadership. You will also create reports to support the financial audit findings using SFDC reporting and BI data warehouse. Having SQL skills to write BI reports is a must have skill set for this position.

You will be a member of IT Services and report directly to the Director of CRM Applications. You will be part of an international team of SFDC administrators, developers, and business analysts. This is a hands-on data analyst role requiring Salesforce CPQ and billing knowledge. To perform this job successfully, you must be capable of the duties listed above as well as the primary responsibilities as listed below (including qualifications).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Financial report auditing
• Understanding cause and effect to financial data
• Write, analyze and present exception reports to executive leadership
• Ability to understand unique insightsoftware workflow related to quote to cash, order management, and various billing processes

Primary Skills:

• Hands on configuration and understanding of a CRM application
• Communication experience with finance leaders relating to audit reports
• Communication experience with IT resources as a business analyst to communicate requirements
• Experience with building reports in a CRM and data warehouse application
• SQL skill set is required
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle and Change Management

Qualifications

• Expert level skill with at least one of SFDC sales cloud, CPQ and/or SFDC billing (or equivalent)
• Expert level skill related to financial data analysis
• Senior level skill in sales operations, quote to cash or financial billing (or equivalent)
• Senior level skill related to SFDC reporting and/or BI reporting (or equivalent)
• Demonstrable experience with writing SQL queries
• Junior level skill as a SFDC administrator with basic configuration knowledge
• 7+ years of total financial or data analytics experience
• 5+ years of experience in working with financial back-office professionals including understanding financial and billing concepts
• 3+ years of total IT experience
