This role supports over 400 Salesforce users across Sales, Service, and Marketing. The Analyst will be responsible for gathering and defining user stories, translating business requirements into functional configurations, and delivering on key strategic initiatives within the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in Salesforce configuration, automation through Flow, and a strong understanding of best practices to optimize business processes. DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Analyst

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Salesforce, providing insights and recommendations on platform improvements to stakeholders.
  •  Interface with various departments to understand their needs, share solutions, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders across Sales, Service, and Marketing to identify opportunities for system improvements and process optimizations.
  • Facilitate user requirement sessions and translate business needs into actionable Salesforce configurations.
  • Provide estimates, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality solutions in line with business priorities and deadlines.
  • Continuously evaluate system performance and suggest optimizations to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and user experience.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of a software development lifecycle for Salesforce processes, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with industry best practices.
  • Promote the use of Salesforce best practices to drive improvements in productivity and efficiency.

Administration

  • Lead the day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and administration of Salesforce, ensuring system integrity, data quality, and security.
  • Design, implement, and enhance Salesforce configurations, including custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, page layouts, reports, and dashboards with a focus on declarative development.
  • Manage user profiles, roles, access settings, security, and data sharing protocols to ensure proper permissions and access controls.
  • Implement and manage Salesforce automation using Flow, Process Builder, and other declarative tools.
  • Lead data cleanup efforts, including de-duplication, ownership management, and import/export processes.
  • Regularly update and communicate system functionality, enhancements, and best practices to end users.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce release updates, and advise leadership on new features, enhancements, and how they can be applied to improve business processes.
  • Ensure Salesforce is aligned with business requirements through regular system audits and updates.
  • Support users with ongoing production support, troubleshooting, and system problem resolution.
  • Understand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report hazards or injuries in the workplace. Cooperate in safety programs, initiatives, and investigations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Intermediate business process knowledge of Marketing, Sales and Service
  • Hands-on advanced configuration experience automating Salesforce - Account Engagement/Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud
  • Strong data management abilities
  • Ability to analyze, review, and document current functionality to determine potential areas of improvement
  • Excellent analytical, research, editing and organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with customers of varying technical background.
  • Experience with SDLC within a Salesforce development environment.
  • Effective time management, organization, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment, and leverage additional resources as needed
  • Ability to establish, communicate and achieve agreed upon goals with limited supervision
  • Able to handle time-sensitive requests from multiple team members, across time zones, and to generate quality work product in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in related field or other related technical degree with a minimum of four (4) years’ CRM platform and Salesforce.com experience; or combination of relevant education and experience.

Special Job Requirements:

Must be available for extended, varied work hours based on business need

Preferred Qualifications:4 years of successful Salesforce.com implementation, customization and administration

  • Hands on experience configuration with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Account Engagement
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
  • Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, Salesforce – Service Cloud Voice

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required (for the majority of the working day) to sit and make coordinated movements of the fingers for data entry on a keyboard.
  • General office environment
  • May require regular ground travel to other company facilities
  • Long-distance or air travel as needed – not to exceed 10% travel
