Job Purpose

We’re looking to add a dynamic Salesforce Solution Architect to the Astound Digital team. You will be a leader of a high-performance feature-driven technical development team responsible for building enterprise-level Salesforce solutions.

Responsibilities

• Leadership of Salesforce project development teams
• Work on presales activities including responding to RFP/pursuits, estimating, demos, and client presentations 
• Assist in client discussions and presentations to showcase the organization's Salesforce practice capabilities, tailoring offerings to meet specific client needs 
• Provide expert guidance and consultation to clients and team members on Salesforce best practices, solutions, and opportunities for process improvements 
• Handle client escalations professionally and efficiently, working towards resolution
• Understand Salesforce market trends
• Salesforce Expertise: Stay updated on the latest Salesforce features, applying this knowledge to enhance outcomes and propose innovative solutions. Provide thought leadership on Salesforce best practices, tools, and methodologies to drive successful project deliveries
• Familiarize the team with customer’s needs and development process;
• Take ownership of the project. Collaborate with the project team to drive closure to problems and open issues;

Required skills/qualifications

• Overall experience of  7+ years with a minimum of 3 years serving as a Subject Matter Expert for Salesforce Core,  and/ or other capability technical implementations
• 2+ years experience working with Data Cloud 
• Broad experience managing integrations in Salesforce with various systems and services (e.g., ERP/OMS, analytics, middleware, REST/SOAP APIs)
• Experience estimating RFP/pursuits and documenting assumptions that underpin the estimate
• Strong experience designing components/applications using Lightning Framework
• Solid knowledge/experience using standard salesforce APIs (REST, Bulk, Streaming);
• Excellent knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem
• Experience using Salesforce data tools;
• Strong understanding of Salesforce SDLC

Good to have:

• Software architecture design using object-oriented and modularity principles;
• Experience with working on complex functional software projects that require a deep understanding of the application logic and dependencies;
• Experience with Salesforce Loyalty
• Technical documentation writing skills;
• Design patterns knowledge and experience;
• Basic knowledge of project management;
• Experience with interviewing and on-boarding of engineers;
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams

Additional Information:

This is a full-time position based at our London office. We currently operate in a hybrid working model and you will be expected to visit the London office regularly.
