Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to support the development and delivery of the Next Generation Case Management Platform (NGCMP), a key digital initiative supporting enterprise case management operations. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions that are

scalable, secure, and aligned with business requirements. You will work closely with Solution Architects, Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA teams, and UX Designers in an Agile delivery environment.

What you will be working on

  • Design, develop, and customise Salesforce solutions using:

o Apex

o Lightning Web Components (LWC)

o Flows

o Custom Objects

o Validation Rules

o Omnistudio components (where applicable)

o Action Plan

o Document Generation

  • Configure and implement Salesforce platform capabilities, primarily on Public Sector Solution, Service Cloud, with potential exposure to Experience Cloud and other platform features
  • Develop integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and MuleSoft integration services
  • Participate in sprint activities including backlog grooming, sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment
  • Develop solutions based on user stories, acceptance criteria, UX designs, and technical specifications documented in JIRA and Confluence
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects/Tech Lead and Business Analysts/Technical Product Manager to translate business requirements into technical implementations
  • Perform unit testing, support system integration testing, and resolve defects to ensure quality deliverables
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Salesforce environments while ensuring platform stability and minimal downtime
  • Support deployment activities across development, SIT, UAT, staging, and production environments
  • Follow established development standards, GitLab version control practices, and CI/CD deployment processes
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including technical designs, deployment procedures, and operational playbooks
  • Continuously improve application performance, maintainability, and user experience through adherence to Salesforce best practices

What we are looking for

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience in Salesforce development and administration
  • Salesforce certifications such as:

o Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I

o Salesforce Administrator

  • Strong hands-on experience in:

o Apex

o SOQL/SOSL

o Lightning Web Components (LWC)

o Salesforce Flows and automation tools

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, particularly:

o Service Cloud

o Experience Cloud

  • Experience working with:

o REST/SOAP APIs

o Salesforce integration patterns

o External system integrations

  • Good understanding of:

o Salesforce data modelling

o Security model (roles, profiles, permission sets, public group...)

o Validation rules and automation capabilities

  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git/GitLab
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Salesforce deployments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross- functional teams

Preferred / Good to Have:

  • Experience with Omnistudio or Salesforce Public Sector Solutions
  • Experience integrating with MuleSoft or middleware platforms
  • Exposure to enterprise case management systems or large-scale digital transformation projects
  • Experience with AI-related Salesforce capabilities such as Agentforce
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
  • Strong sense of ownership, teamwork, and continuous learning mindset
