We're seeking a skilled Salesforce Administrator and technical owner to serve as the central hub between our sales and marketing teams. This role is responsible for optimizing our Salesforce environment to drive revenue growth through effective data management, reporting, and campaign execution. You'll be a technical expert who translates business needs into Salesforce solutions while maintaining data integrity and system functionality.

CareerMD is looking for a Salesforce Administrator to join our sales team and will be responsible for optimizing our Salesforce environment to drive revenue growth through effective data management, reporting, and campaign execution. You'll be the technical expert who translates business needs into Salesforce solutions while maintaining data integrity and system functionality. As a Salesforce Administrator on the CareerMD sales team you will impact user adoption and system utilization, improve data quality and accuracy, drive campaign execution efficiency and speed-to-launch, and support ticket resolution time. This role will report to the Vice President of Sales and Finance.

Responsibilities:

System Administration & Configuration

  • Manage day-to-day Salesforce administration including user setup, profiles, permissions, roles, and workflows
  • Configure and maintain Salesforce features, settings, and functionality to align with evolving business requirements
  • Implement automation through Process Builder, Flow, and validation rules to streamline operations
  • Evaluate and implement AppExchange solutions and third-party integrations
  • Maintain system documentation and create training materials for end users

Data Acquisition, Management & Integrity

  • Oversee data quality standards and implement data governance best practices
  • Manage data acquisition processes across business teams and internal and external sources
  • Manage data imports, migrations, and bulk updates while ensuring accuracy and integrity
  • Perform regular data audits and cleanup activities to maintain database health
  • Establish and enforce data entry standards and deduplication processes
  • Create and maintain custom objects, fields, and page layouts as needed

Reporting & Analytics

  • Design and build custom reports and dashboards for sales leadership and team members
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement

  • Create executive-level reporting packages for pipeline analysis, forecasting, and performance tracking

  • Partner with sales managers to develop KPI dashboards that drive accountability

  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and data analysis to support strategic initiatives

 

Sales & Marketing Partnership

  • Collaborate with marketing to build targeted campaign lists based on specific criteria
  • Gather and structure data from multiple sources to support campaign development
  • Manage Salesforce Campaign objects and track campaign ROI and effectiveness
  • Ensure seamless lead routing and handoff processes between marketing and sales
  • Work with marketing to develop messaging frameworks based on contact segments and attributes
  • Support lead scoring, nurturing processes, and marketing automation integration

User Support & Training

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce questions and troubleshooting
  • Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing education for existing users
  • Create process documentation and quick-reference guides
  • Gather user feedback and translate requirements into system enhancements

Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201)
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security model, and best practices
  • Proven experience with data imports, exports, and data manipulation tools (Data Loader, Excel)
  • Advanced skills in creating reports, dashboards, and custom report types
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users

Education & Years of Experience:

  • 3-5 years of Salesforce administration experience
  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Management Information Systems
  • Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred skills:

  • Advanced Administrator Certification (ADM 211) or Platform App Builder Certification
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations (marketing automation, email platforms, data enrichment tools)
  • Knowledge of sales processes, pipeline management, and CRM best practices
  • Experience with Salesforce Campaign management and marketing operations
  • Familiarity with SQL or SOQL for data queries
  • Understanding of GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and data privacy regulations

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $92,900 -- $179,700 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location. 

CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
