About the Role:
The Revenue Operations team is responsible for creating, maintaining, and continually improving PitchBook’s systems that support our client-facing roles in Sales and Customer Success. This team works cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT to drive efficiency, accuracy, and revenue growth.
PitchBook’s Salesforce Administrator manages and optimizes our Salesforce ecosystem to support our Sales, Billing, and Customer Success teams. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, customize Salesforce solutions, and drive user adoption. Your expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Billing, and Salesforce Service Cloud will be essential in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our CRM platform. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's growth and success by leveraging Salesforce to streamline processes, enhance customer experiences, and drive revenue.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Configure, customize, and maintain Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, Billing, and Service Cloud to meet business needs and optimize user experience
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define processes, and implement solutions within Salesforce
- Design and implement automation workflows, approval processes, validation rules, and custom objects to streamline operations and improve data accuracy
- Manage user roles, profiles, permission sets, and security settings to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide insights into sales performance, customer trends, and operational metrics
- Provide user training, documentation, and support to drive adoption and proficiency in Salesforce across the organization
- Stay informed about Salesforce updates, best practices, and industry trends to recommend enhancements and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with IT and external vendors to integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications as needed
- Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
- Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
- Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201) required; additional certifications such as Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist and Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder are a plus
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, Billing, and Service Cloud configuration and customization
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience and Salesforce Lightning App Builder
- Proven ability to gather requirements, analyze processes, and translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
- Experience with Salesforce integrations, data migration, and API integration tools is preferred
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management principles is desirable
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily

Working Conditions:
We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it’s helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 3+ days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
