Role Summary:
Flowserve is seeking the best and the brightest to join its team of IT Analysts. In this position as a Salesforce Administrator, you will be in charge assisting with data modelling of large data sets to create reports and maintain custom objects, record types etc, and provide day-to-day maintenance, configuration, administration, training and support of the Salesforce platform.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for executing and processing data change and data import requests
- Identify and communicate data integrity issues to the team and participate in resolution
- Planning and analysis of users to design and manage complex workflow rules and data validation. Experience with reporting, dashboards and workflows
- Keeping up-to-date on new Salesforce products, features and functionality through certifications, SFDC training modules and industry user groups
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple assignments in order to meet milestones
- Providing day-to-day and ongoing maintenance, configuration, administration, training and support of the Salesforce platform including Chatter Groups
- Monitor and manage support requests that are in the pipeline, if conflicts help raise concerns to management for proper triage and prioritization
- Supports the Salesforce administration of integration layer (BOOMI) between Salesforce ERP, SAP ERP and other home-grown systems, in conjunction with development team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related discipline with an information technology focus
- 3+ years Salesforce administrator experience
- Experienced in maintaining custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formula, data validation, rules, flows, email alerts, approval processes etc. within Salesforce using best practices
- Assist with data modelling of large data sets to create reports including sales pipeline, revenue forecasting and other metrics
- Development experience using JavaScript, SOQL is a strong plus
- Ability to develop and support Salesforce analytics including reporting and dashboards
- Strong experience in Salesforce Lightning Flows, Validation Rules, Security etc.
- Experience in Salesforce best practices i.e. data governance
- Experience in providing admin support in a Salesforce Org with inbound/outbound API integrations
- Highly skilled using SOQL via Data Loader, Data migration tools, Workbench, Ant, MS Excel complex data mapping, VLOOKUPs etc.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team when required once requirements are provided and to work efficiently with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Problem solving mindset and attention to detail
- Should be motivate and self-directed
- Excellent analytical and communication skills (oral and written)
