Position Summary:

The Salesforce Administrator must understand the general concepts of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). They should be proactive, organized, and logical. The administrator will work closely with the global administrator/development teams and be dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system based on end user needs. They must have excellent technical and communication skills, can interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs to administer and enhance the system accordingly. This person will serve as the "go to" for 500 NA Oils users, promote adoption, keep current on new releases and enhancements, and provide analytics, reporting, and training. Additionally, the Administrator will perform data governance activities related to NA Oils both in Salesforce and source data systems such as SAP.

Core Functions:

  • Oversee day to day activities related to the administration of the SFDC Platform
  • Proactively seek out and identify needed Salesforce enhancements and gather feedback/requirements from users and continually seek ways to further enhance the end-user experience
  • Assist with determining if/how salesforce.com can be used in the business to promote efficiency and stay current on SF releases and enhancements.
  • Assist with project implementations tied to business initiatives, including leading and facilitating NA Oils user acceptance testing and training end users
  • Communicate regularly with users regarding new features and enhancements
  • Create and maintain administrative and business user guides
  • Communicate system changes to the users in advance so they understand the change and how to use it prior to implementation
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, campaigns and other salesforce.com objects and functions
  • Create new reporting capabilities and respond to ad hoc reporting requests as needed
  • Build and manage report folders to improve sales efficiency
  • Create and administer training to existing or new users/groups
  • Onboard and support Local Admins in NAM and other team members
  • Create and support team of Super Users within NA Oils
  • Provide tools, metrics and processes in salesforce.com to provide guidance to Sales Leadership to identify, monitor activities, trends, leads and sales activities
  • Create and maintain administrative and business user guidelines
  • Create list views, reports, and dashboards that meet business requirements
  • Perform system maintenance and data governance
    • New/Deactivation user setup including add/remove user licenses
    • Reassign accounts, contacts, and opportunities in response to personnel changes
    • Monitor neglected leads, opportunities, accounts, and contacts as appropriate
    • Monitor usage and mentor users/groups needing assistance
    • Ensure data integrity by merging duplicate leads, contacts, and accounts
    • Performing mass uploads and updates of data as required
    • Request removal of unnecessary fields and data
    • Ensure screens, fields and workflow have accurate names and reflect current business workflow

Skills/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a relatable field required
  • Experience as a Salesforce.com administrator similar CRM product, or relational database
  • 3+ years of general business experience in sales, marketing, or customer service
  • 2+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and administering Salesforce.com
  • Salesforce admin certifications a plus
  • Salesforce experience should include use of custom and standard fields and objects, workflow rules, data validation rules, and page layout changes
  • Experience with end user training
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with SAP is a plus
