Position Summary

The Salesforce Administrator will be a key member of Salesforce team, responsible for configuration, customization, and maintenance of our Salesforce platform. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce best practices, business processes, and system integrations. Additionally, the role will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.


We are looking for someone who can understand our current Salesforce implementation and business objectives to help drive adoption and identify opportunities for organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable implementing Salesforce solutions that meet the needs and requirements of the organization.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform hands on development and maintain business logic using Lightning Flows, OmniStudio, etc.
  • Design, configure, and customize Salesforce to support organizational processes including Case management, Knowledge management, and omni-channel routing.
  • Engage in evaluation of scope & technical solutions on new Salesforce feature requests
  • Proactively monitor Salesforce system performance and conduct regular maintenance activities, including system upgrades
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and new features, evaluating their potential impact on the organization and recommending adoption as appropriate
  • Manage integrations with third-party applications and systems to ensure seamless data flow and integration
  • Manage Data Extractions, analysis, and Data Loads into Salesforce

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes
  • Ability to coordinate work with geographically dispersed project team – Zoom/ Slack/ Email connectivity & presence balanced with the ability to get things done is required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
  • Experience with Service Cloud, Data Cloud, and Salesforce Shield preferred
  • Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified
  • Service Cloud or Platform Builder certifications preferred; Developer certification optional and helpful
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
  • Strong data management abilities
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security mode
  • A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
  • Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred
