Salesforce Administrator

Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per year + annual bonus

Summary:
Highland Capital Brokerage is seeking a Salesforce CRM Administrator to build, maintain, and support an exceptional internal CRM system for employees and customers. This role requires proficiency in manipulating and standardizing data, understanding user sharing and visibility settings, and developing native flows and object components using declarative methods. Salesforce Lightning experience or demonstrated understanding is highly desired. While APEX/Visualforce coding skills are not required, they will be considered a plus during the hiring process.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred; Associate’s Degree or H.S. Diploma or GED certificate + Significant Practical Experience will be considered.
- Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent experience is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic Salesforce organization maintenance, including but not limited to: Flows and Approvals, creating/editing Permission Sets, Profiles/Page Layouts, Roles configuration, and Group/Queue management.
- Build and deliver custom reports and dashboards using standard objects, custom objects, combinations of multiple objects, and custom report types to provide actionable insights for users.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of data filtering logic and Salesforce field types to ensure accurate reporting and system functionality.
- Maintain data integrity and consistency across the CRM platform by implementing data validation rules, managing duplicates, and conducting regular data audits.
- Review, configure, and deploy applications and managed packages from the Salesforce AppExchange, while maintaining system and user permissions to ensure optimal functionality and security.
- Provide support to internal CRM users by addressing ad-hoc needs such as troubleshooting issues, assisting with data imports/exports, and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner. Additionally, conduct training sessions and create documentation to educate users on CRM best practices and new features.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to gather requirements, understand business processes, and implement solutions that meet their needs, while proactively troubleshooting system configuration-related issues.
- Establish individual and CRM platform goals with the CRM Administration Team, determining strategies to achieve these goals and aligning them with product/service roadmaps.
- Stay current with industry trends and developments in CRM cloud computing to ensure the system remains cutting-edge.
- Leverage experience with Lightning User Interface usage, customization, and Lightning components (preferred).
- Maintain Trailhead badges and a history of ongoing learning (preferred) to demonstrate broad knowledge of Salesforce products and configurations.
Basic Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in systems administration
- Strong analytical skills for effective problem-solving.
- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
- Knowledge of database design principles and theories.
- Understanding of database management best practices.
- Proficiency in IT security best practices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar tools (preferred).
- Experience in data analysis or data stewardship (preferred).

- Experience in financial industry is a plus, but not required
