What you'll do:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Salesforce Administrator to join the NinjaTrader Business Solutions team. You'll own the day-to-day administration and declarative configuration of our Salesforce org, managing users and access, building and maintaining flows, layouts, and list views, keeping our data clean, and resolving the requests that keep the platform running smoothly for teams across the company. You'll partner with analysts, developers, and stakeholders throughout the organization: confirming requirements before you build, delivering clean and well-documented configuration, flagging blockers early, and escalating the ambiguous or complex work with the context others need to move it forward. This is a hands-on role for someone early in their Salesforce career who takes full ownership of their work, follows through reliably, and is eager to master the platform and grow into progressively harder problems.
In this role you will:
- Administer users, licenses, permission sets, and profiles, making sure the right people have the right access and that changes are made cleanly and on time
- Build and maintain declarative configuration: Custom Objects, Lightning record pages, page layouts, list views, Flows, and validation rules, with strong attention to detail
- Work the day-to-day admin request queue, confirming requirements before building, communicating status, and closing the loop with stakeholders
- Import, export, and maintain data using Data Loader and related tools, supporting data quality and integrity across the org
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards that give teams clear visibility into their data
- Keep the org clean and well-governed, documenting your changes, maintaining ticket hygiene, and following sandbox and deployment practices
- Diagnose routine issues, ask clarifying questions, and escalate ambiguous or complex problems to analysts and developers with the context they need to help
- Partner with analysts and developers to turn requirements into sound solutions, contributing to working sessions and flagging risks early
- Continually grow your platform knowledge, learning the org's data model, security and sharing model, and automation and take on increasingly complex admin work as you do
What you'll need:
- 1-3 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, or equivalent platform exposure
- Working proficiency with the core declarative toolset: users and permission sets, page layouts and record pages, list views, Flows, and validation rules
- Familiarity with data-management tools such as Data Loader, and comfort with import/export and basic data cleanup
- A foundational understanding of the Salesforce security model — profiles, permission sets, and record access/visibility
- Ability to build and maintain basic reports and dashboards
- Strong attention to detail and a habit of documenting your work so nothing gets dropped
- Clear communication and a reliable, follow-through-oriented approach; comfortable asking clarifying questions and flagging blockers early
- A genuine drive to continually learn and grow your Salesforce knowledge and capabilities
- BA or BS in a related field preferred
- Salesforce Administrator (ADM-201) certification preferred or in progress, not required
- Familiarity with change management and source control, including testing and deploying through sandboxes, change sets, or DevOps tools such as Gearset, SFDX CLI, or Git, a plus
- Prior experience with finance or financial markets a plus

NinjaTrader Insights
What We Do
NinjaTrader's engineering, product, and operations teams build for nearly 4 million futures traders worldwide. Real users, real markets, real confidence in the tech behind every trade. We've been at this since 2003 — launching our own brokerage in 2014 and our FCM in 2021 — and we know what scale looks like in this category. In 2025, NinjaTrader joined Kraken and is now part of Payward, Inc., a unified financial infrastructure company that includes Kraken, NinjaTrader, and a growing set of related products and services. NinjaTrader operates independently within Payward, and we're building from the strongest position in our history. Our Purpose — to build better futures for all traders — is also a hiring filter. We hire people who genuinely care about the trader experience, whether or not they trade themselves. That care shows up everywhere: in product decisions, customer support, how we run our daily livestream, and how compliance reviews every promotional asset before it goes out. Our HQ is in the Loop, overlooking the Chicago River. It's a deliberate space designed for the kind of work we do, with collaboration zones, focus rooms, social areas, and reservable desks for remote employees to use when they're in town. Our hybrid schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in office, plus 20 additional work-from-home flex days per year and up to 5 company-wide office-optional weeks. NinjaTrader has grown to over 430 employees, and nearly 40% of the team works fully remote across 22+ states — on the same squads, same projects, same calls as their Chicago colleagues. We're Great Place To Work Certified™, and in 2026 we were named to the Fortune Best Workplaces in Chicago™ list. NinjaTrader was recognized as one of the 2026 Fortune Best Workplaces in Chicago, an award determined entirely by employee feedback through the Great Place To Work® Trust Index™ survey. NinjaTrader paid no application fee to participate. Futures trading involves substantial risk and is not suitable for everyone. View Disclosures: ninjatrader.com/disclosures/
