Mission – Why We Need You

Reporting to our Salesforce Architect, the Salesforce Administrator is an essential part of Togetherwork’s Revenue Operations team. You are tasked with building, maintaining, optimizing, and scaling our Salesforce infrastructure amidst a complex and changing environment.

  • Subject Matter Expertise: You will be a subject matter expert on both Salesforce and Togetherwork’s Salesforce roadmap, responsible for the scoping and execution of various Salesforce enhancements, including workflow automation, data migration, and custom object creation.
  • End-User Support: You’ll provide front-line end-user support to our internal customers (300+ users) and solve a wide range of issues, from simple to complex, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will support the Salesforce Architect as their “right-hand person” in building out and supporting Togetherwork’s Salesforce org and adjacent tech stack.

Objectives – The Problems You’ll Solve

  • In your first month, you’ll onboard, get up-to-speed, and begin to learn our Salesforce environment and processes as used by its core users.

    • Shadow the Salesforce Architect in core day-to-day activities to get a sense of requests and priorities.
    • Immerse yourself in the company’s internal data structure – Salesforce and adjacent tech stack – to understand the architecture and foundation of our org.
    • Meet with various stakeholders to understand their respective use cases related to Salesforce.
    • Start to take on and resolve end user tickets in our internal support queue.

In your first 3 months, you’ll become the primary end-user and day-to-day admin supporting core end users, as well as participate in requirement gathering conversations for new Salesforce enhancement requests.

    • Manage the internal support queue, including error resolution, user management, and other daily requests critical for end users.
    • Scope and execute short-term projects ( 2 weeks) as assigned by the Salesforce architect.
    • Begin participating in larger strategic Salesforce initiatives with Revenue Operations and other stakeholders.

In your first 6 months, you’ll be an expert in Togetherwork’s Salesforce configuration and be the primary executor of Salesforce changes and enhancements.

    • Lead Revenue Operations weekly review of ongoing Salesforce projects and appropriately manage timeframes, scope, and expectations.
    • Continually and proactively look to optimize our Salesforce data structure, processes, and adjacent tech stack.

Competencies – What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years hands-on Salesforce administration experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Salesforce Experience: 4+ years of Salesforce experience in a business environment, preferably in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). Salesforce certification (ADM 201) strongly preferred.
  • Marketing Automation Tools: 2+ years of experience with a marketing automation tool integrated into Salesforce (HubSpot experience strongly preferred).
  • Sales & Marketing Tools: 2+ years of experience with administration or as a power user of tools core to a sales and marketing organization, such as texting, rep outreach, and scheduling tools.
  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of relational databases and data integration tools. Experience with programming languages such as SoQL, SQL, JavaScript, Java, and Apex is preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Analytical, detailed, organized, and results-oriented. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment.
