Position Summary: The Salesforce Administrator I is a part of the Infrastructure/Systems Engineering teams and is responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of our Salesforce platform. This role includes managing user accounts, ensuring data integrity, and providing support to end-users. This is a unique and highly collaborative position where you will work closely with organizational Salesforce users and development teams to understand their system needs and solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage user licenses, accounts, and permissions, solving issues raised by IAM or Service Desk teams.
  • Update and maintain data within Salesforce, ensuring accuracy, and correcting issues raised by the business or Service Desk.
  • Responsible for handling Salesforce support requests escalated from the Service Desk, organization, or IT SMEs.
  • In addition to resolving the issues, help the business users understand how to use the system to reduce the number of calls requiring Service Desk attention.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of identified resolutions, processes, and configurations.
  • Responsible for Salesforce configuration changes, including, but not limited to, workflow, process builder, field page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, and reports.
  • Manage assigned functions in all environments, including Sandbox and Production.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • Solid knowledge of the Salesforce platform including standard objects, reports, dashboards, and user management.
  • Excellent understanding of and skills in FSL.
  • Ability to offer suggestions for improving business experience and IT efficiency.
  • Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without "dropping the ball."
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a "roll up your sleeves" and "win every day" mentality.
  • Hold oneself accountable and responsible while being self-driven in accomplishing goals.
  • Detail-oriented and can focus on the task at hand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels to communicate with internal and external stakeholders articulately.
  • Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels keeping peer and customer needs first.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).


Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Certifications:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification.

  • No travel required.


Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:

  • Additional hours may be required (exempt positions).


Physical Requirements:

  • Normal office environment.
  • Performs indoor work in a climate-controlled environment.
  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
