Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Administrator to manage, optimize, and support our Salesforce platform, a critical component of our Digital, Data & Tech (D&D&Tech) ecosystem, in an international environment (80 countries, 11000 employees). Salesforce is currently live with ~400 users, with a roadmap for deployment targeting significant expansion to 1200+ users. Reporting to the Solutions Manager, you will ensure the seamless operation, configuration, and continuous improvement of Salesforce to align with our business objectives, in a context of integration between Salesforce and SAP S/4 HANA via a Data Platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user adoption, streamline processes, and drive business growth through effective use of Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce Platform Management

  • Oversee daily operations, performance, and support of the Salesforce platform, ensuring high availability, reliability, and user satisfaction.
  • Manage the configuration, customization, and maintenance of Salesforce, aligning with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., sales, marketing, customer service, IT) to gather and prioritize requirements for platform enhancements.
  • Lead and support projects for Salesforce upgrades, new feature deployments, and integrations with other systems, delivering on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and Salesforce consultants to support platform development, maintenance, and issue resolution.
  • Provide training, documentation, and support to end-users to ensure effective adoption and utilization of Salesforce.
  • Monitor platform performance metrics, identify optimization opportunities, and implement improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with data security, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and company policies in all Salesforce-related activities.

General Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and external partners to align Salesforce solutions with organizational goals.
  • Drive digital transformation by leveraging Salesforce capabilities and integrating emerging technologies (e.g., AI, automation).
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and project deliverables to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Contribute to the strategic roadmap for the D&D&Tech Department, aligning Salesforce initiatives with long-term business objectives.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Platform App Builder) are highly desirable.
  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or IT service management (e.g., ITIL) are a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, managing and configuring Salesforce environments.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom applications.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce integrations, APIs, and tools like Data Loader, Flow, or Process Builder.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and analytics platforms for reporting and dashboards.
  • Knowledge of data management, SQL, and cybersecurity practices (e.g., GDPR compliance).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects effectively.
  • Excellent vendor and contract management abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements

  • International travel required (approximately 10-20% of the time) for project implementations or stakeholder meetings.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in French or other languages is a plus.
