Looking for a strong Computer Engineer with experience as Jr. Salesforce Admin to help manage our Salesforce Platform. Must have a good core set of CRM understanding. Must be willing to learn and work on new cloud based technologies. The right candidate will have great communication and coordination skills as well as a strong technical Development and Administration background with Salesforce. Responsibilities will include working very closely with other teams in resolving issues related to Salesforce. This role will require a flexible schedule which might include being on call and or work on weekends (up to 2-3 times a month)

The role will also include a governance and compliance component. You will work the the various business owners and tech leads to help them understand how to respond to corporate compliance issues. Communication and a bulldog approach is necessary to be successful in this position. Understanding IT concepts is critical so that you can properly assess the requirements of the particular compliance and or audit finding.

What you’ll do

  • Work with software development engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented
  • Utilize creative problem-solving skills to assist in technical troubleshooting and analysis for BU reported issues in JIRA
  • Monitor, maintain systems/applications, look for opportunities to optimize and improve systems
  • Establishes technical proficiency in design, implementation and unit testing
  • Respond to assigned tickets/tasks in accordance with SLA guidelines
  • Handle customer requests, incidents and inbound calls; apply diagnostic utilities and best practice methodology to aid in troubleshooting
  • Update technical support documentation when required and also perform post-resolution follow-ups to help requests 
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the application, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications. Escalate to Tier 3 any issues unresolved 
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams and stakeholders to drive progress across multiple action items and initiatives
  • Work effectively in an Agile environment; provide training or demos in the new/existing features

What experience you need

  • 3+ Years Experience as a Salesforce Admin and or  Salesforce Support Specialist 
  • 3+ Years in Governance and Security related tasks,
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Developer
  • 3+ Experience in troubleshooting Salesforce Custom built Applications for end user support
  • Experience in creating technical documentation using tools such as Confluence

  • Salesforce Admin and or Developer Certifications Strongly Preferred
  • Understanding of Jira & ServiceNow
  • Self-starter that identifies/responds to priority shifts with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with backend technologies such as JAVA/J2EE, MuleSoft CPQ,
  • Source code control management systems (e.g. Github, Jenkins) and build tools like Maven & Gradle
  • Agile environments (e.g. Scrum,)
  • Data Operations tools like Jenkins. (Pipeline management and automation)
  • Atlassian tooling (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, and Github)
  • Developing with modern JDK (v1.7+)
  • Automated Testing: JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, SoapUI
  • Google Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred
  • Experience in Security & Compliance handling strontly preferred
