Flexport has recently extended its product portfolio with the launch of the Convoy Platform for Brokers, and we are growing a new sales team to sell the Convoy Platform directly to brokerages. Through the relaunch of the Convoy Platform, we are scaling our business around market leading technology, and using it to empower freight brokerages to get all the benefits of the Convoy tech stack. We need high performing sellers who are motivated by driving early stage growth, building a new market, and the uncapped potential that comes with that. We have the market leading platform, with over $1B invested in building out the technology, and we’re building the best sales team to sell it.
We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to build and scale our business, identify good-fit clients, and close deals. You'll be part of a high-performing team and in the driver's seat building up a new business, while solving customer problems with tech-enabled solutions for brokerages.
You Will:
- Grow Convoy Platform revenue through net new client acquisitions and growing existing accounts via optimization and upsell opportunities
- Uncovering and connecting with ideal clients, and managing the sale from first contact to close.
- Consulting with new clients to understand their specific needs.
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to create innovative value-add solutions and a customer feedback loop that informs the product roadmap
- Proactively pursue expansion and new partnership opportunities through various channels, including prospecting, customer visits, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), conferences, and cold calling
- Discovery with new clients to understand their needs and demonstrate our capabilities through remote and in-person meetings
- Leading the customer onboarding process by leveraging internal resources and teams.
You Should Have:
- At least 3 years’ of experience in transportation and logistics, with a proven track record of success in truckload sales, with experience selling solutions as well as transactional truckload
- Enthusiasm for cold-calling prospects, leading discovery calls to uncover their needs, and managing accounts to create an outstanding experience for clients.
- A fast learning ability, a strong work ethic, and a burning desire to grow into a top 5% sales executive in the country.
- Growth mindset and an unlimited hunger to work in a fast paced sales and account management environment.
