About The Role

We are looking for an SDR Manager to lead a team of 7 Outbound Sales Development Reps (SDR) to create qualified opportunities for the sales team, and take on the leadership tasks to help the SDR team perform and exceed expectations. As an SDR Manager, you will develop, train and hire highly driven, diverse, and engaged team members. The ideal candidate for this role will have substantial experience and positive track record managing and scaling high performance SDR teams. Esper has tripled the SDR team globally this year, and strong SDR leadership plays a critical role in our strategy.


Why This Role Is Unique

Esper is experiencing hypergrowth and is positioned extremely well for continued growth in a variety or areas, globally. We’re growing the number of channels and it’s critical to support inbound, outbound, and channel growth with the help of our sales development team. We’re not a conventional SaaS product and have an extremely sticky product with a complex GTM strategy. There’s a lot of experimentation involved which presents a myriad of challenges and opportunities. It’s an exciting, growing industry and we are a few years ahead of the market creating a new category.


What You’ll Be Doing

You will be working extremely closely with our Outbound team to help continue ramping, training, and coaching the team and help increase efficiency and quality of the work we produce. We have an extremely complex and technical product and it’s paramount to develop a highly effective training and coaching cadence, continue driving operational excellence, and focus on identifying and eliminating bottlenecks as they arise.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years experience in an SDR leadership role in SaaS sales. Experience with very technical product is highly desirable
  • Experience in building and scaling a high performing Outbound SDR teams in ENT, MM segments
  • Proven track record of success hitting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience using tools like Salesforce.com, Outreach, LinkedIn and ZoomInfo 
  • Experience running data-driven experimentation and have an outstanding track record of leveraging sales tools to drive outsized outcomes
  • Passion for providing leadership & coaching, and high team engagement.
  • Excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills
  • Passionate about our product, technology, and Android ecosystem
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment
