Who you are:

  • Capacity to engage prospects and develop relationships over the phone
  • Positive, professional and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills, good problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • A self starter, with the ability to drive self toward weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in lead data entry into CRM
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; team player
  • Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office, Google Suite)
  • Salesforce.com experience a plus
  • 4-year College degree or equivalent experience required

Becoming a Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the first step in working toward a rewarding and lucrative career in digital marketing. Adtaxi is looking for driven individuals who are recent college graduates, or looking to make a career change. As an SDR, you will have the opportunity to learn about the digital marketing industry, and set the foundation for career advancement.

Adtaxi is a high-performance environment with the expectation that each SDR will manage their business professionally and continually strive to achieve over quota.

  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop target accounts and inbound leads to create sales-ready leads and opportunities
  • Interact with prospects via telephone and email
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity
  • Disseminate opportunities to sales, educating reps as necessary about the opportunity
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
  • Become a trusted resource and develop superior relationships with prospects
  • Update prospect interaction in salesforce.com to ensure efficient lead management
  • Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to support revenue objectives
  • Provide feedback to ensure continuous process optimization

The annual salary is $45,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. This role is eligible for a bonus potential of $15,000 based on performance/KPI's. In addition to your salary, MediaNews Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).
