The Opportunity:

As our Enterprise Account Executive, LATAM, you will sell our API-based commerce portfolio to B2B and B2C enterprise and upper mid-market customers within the Latin America region, with a specific focus on Argentina, Chile, Mexico, and Brazil. You will work closely with prospective customers as a reliable advisor to grasp their business obstacles and goals, educating them on a new approach to build a better commerce experience. You will contribute to the growth of our business in a fast-paced, collaborative, and fun environment as a valued member of our team.

Your Mission:

  • Prospect, qualify, and develop a robust sales pipeline
  • Communicate the value of commercetools’ solutions to C-level executives and other senior enterprise decision-makers
  • Conduct discovery and carry out the sales process to uncover the needs of large, enterprise companies
  • Develop a strategic plan for your territory to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings and revenue objectives
  • Update Salesforce.com CRM, forecasts, and pipeline data in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure the generation of accurate reports
  • Work with our Partner team and Partners directly to identify and work on opportunities

What you need to succeed:

  • 5+ years in full cycle e-commerce or related direct application sales
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English required, Portuguese-speaking skills preferred
  • Excellent communication (interpersonal and presentation) skills and closing know-how, having successfully applied these in previous sales roles
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a high-growth environment
  • Self-starting and team-oriented personality with a structured way of working
  • Good comprehension of sales performance metrics and driven with an extreme sense of urgency to deliver
  • Ability to develop and grasp convoluted business processes/business models and a consultative approach to selling
  • Very comfortable working 100% remotely with excitement to create an emphatic and meaningful relationship with stakeholders remotely
  • Knowledge of and experience with Salesforce CRM, Google Suite, and a sales methodology (Command the Message, MEDDPICC, etc.)

💲 Our target compensation for this role is $250,000-$300,000 OTE, but we are flexible based on experience and skill level.
