Director, Sales Planning and Operations
Gopuff is the go-to solution for immediate everyday needs, fulfilling customer orders of cleaning and home products to over-the-counter medications to food and drinks, and in some markets, alcohol - in just minutes. As a member of Gopuff's new Marketing Solutions team, you will be an integral member responsible for helping drive & lead the Sales Planning & Operations strategy including pricing, revenue forecasting, goal setting, productivity, GTM strategy and sales effectiveness as we prepare for hyper-growth of the ads business.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience performing similar duties at a fast growing organization; start-up experience, preferred.
- Experience in financial modeling and forecasting
- Ability to execute at an individual contributor level early on with the opportunity to build a team as the organization grows
- Proven strategic ability while being hands on for long term strategic visions
- Strong technical skills in Excel and data visualization tools; Looker experience preferred.
- Experience working in ad inventory management systems and CRM platforms; Salesforce highly preferred.
- Location: NYC or Philadelphia, highly preferred. Other remote locations in the U.S., possible.
Responsibilities
- Create & develop insights into both internal team and external market performance. Advertiser performance, product adoption, leading revenue indicators, budgets vs actuals, productivity and sales effectiveness
- Develop, create, and maintain revenue forecasting models across entire BD organization
- Refine and evolve sales compensation & goal-setting framework
- Develop detailed analysis on current pipeline, YoY trends, new market opportunities, and operating trends
- Oversee & build out Gopuff's client relationship management platform (CRM is Salesforce)
- Assist in end-to-end sales planning -- from market sizing, account segmentation, forecasting, and prospect tracking through to revenue realization
- Execute & evolve BD financial planning process in partnership with Finance and key cross functional stakeholders
- Provide support on revenue reconciliation & recognition process
- Drive process improvement for both current and future improvement to increase efficiencies across the entire Sales organization including account management and campaign management.
