Zone & Company has been experiencing tremendous growth and we're looking to expand by adding a Business Development Rep to our Go To Market and Sales Teams! We are searching for a talented, motivated individual with a passion for hunting prospective buyers, connecting with key decision makers and selling the value of ZoneBilling in order to set up qualified sales opportunities for Account Executives. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that will play a vital role in the attainment of our company revenue goals.
You will be a hunter at the top of our sales funnel, qualifying inbound leads and using your prospecting skills to target and pursue outbound prospects. Your goal is to book meetings with well-qualified prospects for your Account Executives to help them meet their new business goals. This role is responsible for the following:
- Conducting high volume prospecting (70-100 events/activities a day) to find, create, and qualify leads through calls, emails, social media, and even account based marketing events
- Schedule introduction calls of ZoneBilling, Zone's proprietary recurring billing solution, for an Account Executive with the goal in mind to great a qualified SQO ( Sales Qualified Opportunity)
- Work closely with assigned AE's to develop, implement and achieve successful prospecting strategies ( think outside the box! )
- Help identify new lead generation opportunities, markets and lead lists for the BDR team overall to help Zone Sales Team achieve their quarterly and annual targets
Qualifications:
- Ability to thrive in a very fast paced environment and be a self starter with a dedication to hitting goals
- At least one year professional work experience preferred
- Experience/exposure to SaaS companies, the C-Suite and understanding the challenges of the Finance function within a company is a bonus
- High adaptability; strong listening, communication and writing skills
- Determination to hit high volume prospecting activities, meetings and revenue goals; exemplifying a "get it done" attitude with the ability to grow and learn on the job
- Team player attitude working together with the BDR team and AE's to establish and share successful prospecting strategies
- Open minded, ability to think outside the box to get in touch with prospects and set meetings and willingness to learn
