About the Business Development Representative:
MarketStar currently has an opportunity for you as a Business Development Representative, representing a leader in the technology industry.
As a Business Development Rep, you will assess and recommend new up-and-coming accounts for coverage to our inside sales team. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying and working with Channel Partners that have great potential to grow sales for NETGEAR product. You will also be responsible for helping potential Channel Partners navigate through the on-boarding process.
What will you do? • Engage stakeholders on dormant accounts to reactivate and schedule appointments with Account Managers
• Help enable and progress all client partners identified as potential candidates for sales growth• Collaborate with individual sales rep on our team to identify and nurture up and coming channel partners for transition into dedicated sales coverage • Train potential partners on the benefits of partnering with NETGEAR• Adjust to new situations and escalate issues quickly for resolution
• Making outbound sales calls (estimated up to 50 calls per day)
• Calling current and prospective NetGear client partners, assess recommend new business to sales team
Desired Attributes for Success:• Excellent verbal and written communication with an outstanding telephone presence• Engaging and personable with the ability to easily develop relationships of influence• A passion for sales with proven success in sales attainment• Strong organization skills with the ability to track and complete multiple projects simultaneously • Self-motivated and accountable, with the ability to excel in a team environment
• Microsoft Office and Salesforce or other CRM
• Understanding of full cycle channel sales and distribution
