Description

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager at Zywave, you will be the front-line manager for the outbound and inbound business development/lead generation team. Your main focus will be ensuring your team is delivering repeatable & profitable pipeline and developing the future AEs of Zywave. Successful candidates will be motivated by a data-driven, fast-paced SaaS business model.

You will be responsible for:

  • Hire, onboard, and mentor BDR team, while developing strong Team Leads for key segments
  • Work exclusively out of Salesforce CRM to manage activity-based metrics and report key KPIs to Marketing & Sales leadership (including real-time dashboards and weekly, monthly, annual reporting)
  • Create, deploy, and analyze prospecting cadences; including cold calls, social media and personalized emails, while connecting with the right personas at target companies
  • Lead cadence management system for instituting outbound sequence strategy/tactics
  • Institute and refine a culture of continuous coaching (including role playing, team stand-ups, incentive programs, regular 1:1's with direct reports, performance-improvement-plans, etc.)
  • Partner with leaders of associated sales segments, and effectively communicate lead generation goals relevant to each stakeholder
  • Collaborate with Marketing teammates (e.g. campaign managers, digital marketing, product marketing) to refine and execute strategy
  • Ensure Marketing generated leads prioritized by ICP are contacted within reasonable timeframe for follow-up



What you should bring:

  • Overall experience not less than 7 years with at least 2 years in a leadership role at a SaaS organization
  • Technologies: Salesforce CRM, MAP (e.g. Marketo, Hubspot, Pardot), Cadence/Sequence Management (e.g. Outreach.io, Salesloft, Revenue.io)
  • Understand the nuances between verticals within our ideal customer profile segments
  • Ability to manage in-person and virtual direct reports
  • High level of discipline, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining a high-level of accuracy
  • Insatiable appetite to constantly improve self and team
  • InsurTech knowledge a PLUS
  • Must be able to come to Milwaukee HQ 1-2 times per month
