Monocl is a rapidly growing SaaS business focused on life sciences and healthcare. We are now looking to add an experienced Account Manager to work in our US sales team. As an Account Manager you will have an opportunity to have a significant and very visible impact selling a breakthrough SaaS platform that is transforming an industry!

What you'll be doing:
You will effectively drive new opportunities, develop and manage strong customer relationships, and grow revenue within your territory. This is a position that requires the ability to identify prospects, execute client engagement meetings, and deliver sales in an autonomous manner. We are a global company and you will have the opportunity to work towards an international client base. For the right person, this position offers brilliant development opportunities and strong financial incentives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and close sales opportunities to meet/exceed our commercial targets
- Ensure key metrics and performance targets are effectively managed and tracked
- Effectively navigate and penetrate clients at different levels across matrixed organizations
- Efficiently organize customer meetings and presentations
- Provide ongoing updates and market feedback to the broader team
Who you are:
You should have the confidence to target, educate, and persuade new customers to use our product and services in new and creative ways that benefit their business. You have a passion for working within the SaaS and/or the Life Science industry and thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing technology company.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience selling SaaS and/or software
- Track record of successfully delivering results through the use of metrics and analysis
- Proven ability to work well in a matrix environment, collaborate across multiple departments/organizations, and influence at all levels
- Adaptable, flexible, open to diverse ways of thinking, and diverse cultures.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation, and training skills.
- Experience in working under pressure and with a low degree of supervision.
- Ability to gain and retain customer confidence and respect
- Proven team player
Preferred
- Experience selling into the life sciences/pharmaceutical industries or similar
- Demonstrated understanding of life sciences practices, processes, and issues and ability to discuss related issues with customers or personnel at all levels within the organization
