Job Purpose:
Our Sales Trainee role is tailored for individuals at the entry-level who are enthusiastic about building a career in sales. As a Sales Trainee, you will receive extensive training with our Customer Service, Operations and Sales teams to acquire the essential skills and knowledge required for a successful sales career. This position involves working closely with an experienced Sales Representative who will provide support and contribute to the development plan aimed at transitioning this position into a Sales Representative role within a 24-36 month period.Job Responsibilities:
● Participate in training programs to learn the products, services, and sales techniques.● Shadow experienced Sales Representatives to gain practical experience in the field.
● Learn to identify potential customers and understand their needs and preferences.
● Assist in preparing and delivering sales presentations to potential customers.
● Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and objectives.
● Act as the first point of contact for customer queries and complaints and resolve these, referring complex issues to others and ensuring that the customer receives an appropriate response.
● Schedule follow-up actions and enter relevant information into the customer relationship management system after each contact to create a call plan and ensure that the organization has quality data to enable effective customer retention and business development activities.
● Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure the work adheres to those standards.
● Prioritize own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards of productivity, quality, and timeliness; use performance management systems to improve personal performance.
● Additional duties as required.

**Base Salary Range - $63,000 - $70,700**

● High School Diploma PreferredPhysical Requirements:
● A significant portion of the job responsibilities will require computer work that involves the continuous use of the fingers, hands, wrists, and sitting for long periods of time.
● The position also requires frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
● The position requires work in an office as well as travel to customers, suppliers, group meetings, etc.
